of playing, and being played by, the game...
It's easy to play, you know.

All you have to do is make sure everyone around you is there for the sole purpose of filling a need. It could be their money, their house(s), their time, the happy feeling they give you, the open ear when you're down, all that stuff.

They're there to meet the demands of your mind, and your heart. Replaceable, interchangeable, not permanent. Batteries, so to speak, you change them, you recharge them, and they juice you up to keep you going.

But be careful. There's a thin line between needing a feeling that a person gives you, and needing a person. Oh boy, because once you start needing the person more than what that person gives, that's how you lose the game. Once you start feeling like that person is the only one who can fill a need, or worse, all your needs, you start the great downward spiral. Because just like batteries, they can never last for too long.

Once what they give you dies off, and you still hang on, you die off too.

The game. Oh the game. Are you in? It's easy to play, you know. You just have to be careful.

Coz batteries, when held onto for too long, are poison.
