I Miss Soph Year So Bad...

I know I should be sleeping by now because today is one of those rare opportunites for a Senior student like me to go to bed early because basically there's nothing much to do the next day. Long test week is over. There's gonna be an experiment for Physical Science and a quiz in English tomorrow but I don't really care. Hahaha!

Well, deadline for Senior's write-ups is coming soon but since my write-up ain't done yet, I was searching for barkada pics. As of now, I don't know exactly where to find them (not to mention my kada doesn't usually takes pics of us complete) but as I was searching, I came to SY 06-07 pics. While I was browsing through each and every one of them, I was immediately brought back to where I was 2 years ago.

First off, I was in Sophomore D. Since I really had fun the previous school year, I expected to enjoy as well in that year but I was wrong. I really had bad vibes with my classmates and for some odd reason I closed my shell to that class. Sure, I had made some few close friends but I wasn't really that comfortable with the class as a whole. Oh how I wished my previous class was block section for the rest of my highschool life. I knew that was impossible so I just had to wait until Sophomore year had to end.

SY 06-07 was the time where I first had encountered LSYC (Lasallian Youth Corps). I was Toti Batch 1 and I swear it was the best retreat I ever experienced in my life! I got to meet lots of new friends, especially those 2 years older than me, the seniors at that time. I really love their batch because I find them so united that's why I really made friends with people from that batch in my extra-curricular groups (Chorale, Theater, LSYC). I remember I was hopelessly in like with someone named ***, who was also in that batch. Maybe that's why I got so close to that batch because a lot of his batchmates like that person too. Teehee.

Of course, my best friend in Soph year was Lorenzo Avellanosa Laurente. Zoe and I were inseperable! I used to be a so so so innocent girl but thanks to him, he helped me unleash my wild side! Hahaha! We always hung out together and he even taught me how to commute! Wow, real life lessons from this biatch! I love him to death!

Well, back to my class. As time passed, a lot of other things happened. Lots of memories were formed: good and bad but nevertheless, I finally learned to be myself to the people around me. I got to be more open to other people and I was active in class participations. I became one of the dancers in intrams even though I wasn't really much of a dancer. Flashbacks of Romeo and Juliet reheasals at Narra park still linger to me whenever I pass by there. One class thing I would never ever forget is the time SD surprised Miss Rafon for Valentines. We made her stand on the platform then suddenly we blindfolded her and made her sit on a monoblock. We all left the classroom and waited for Sir Javi to come in. After he was in, he kissed her on the cheek and thus we all shouted "JAVI VALENTINES DAY!!!" Memories...

Third Term. My childish fantasies about *** were starting to wear off. While that was happening, I was starting to be in denial with someone's cousin. I tried so hard to control my feelings but eventually I gave in...*sighs then laughs*

Once on This Island is the best play ever!

When Sophomore year was about to end, then and there I wished it never had to. That year brought out the best in me for that was the time I had been so active in a year. Although that was my worst year in terms of academics, it was my best year in terms of experience. Now as I write this entry, tears rush out of my eyes wishing that this year would indeed come back. I just hope that there will be an SD REUNION PART 2...There has to be!

Anyways, I LOVE YOU SOPHOMORE D!!!

Ok...so results got out....unfortunately, we didn't get in...*sobs*...I've always told myself, my bandmates and the other bands who didn't get in that there's still 19 East...It's just a school BOB but still, it would be real cool if we actually got the chance to show people what we really got and totally rock out on the school's stage. Oh well, there's nothing I can do about it but still, I wish I could be best vox!!! I really do hope 19 East BOB will give out awards like these! *prays*

I wanna get in soooooo badlllyyy....It's Sunshine Boulevard's first time to audition in DLSZ's Battle of the Bands last Friday. I really regret not joining last year's auditions but oh well, we didn't have the time to jam also...*sigh* That would've gained more experience...

Is it just me or I'm just really having my hopes so high? Not only do I want to get in the top 10 qualifying bands but I really want to have the BEST VOX award!!! I've been dying to get to you! I don't want this to end up just a dream really, I WILL GET YOU!!! But first, we have to qualify *cries*

Well either way, there's still 19 East Battle of the Bands! I want our band to end up as a Senior there. I hope there are category awards there though...

I don't know what's getting into me but lately I've been thinking of what will happen to my rock life after highschool. I'm sure the band members will go on separate ways but what I know is that all of us are planning to go to Taft (yey! Jamming days aren't over yet!) but the problem is if we'll all end up there (God! DLSU-CET was so fucking hardddd!!!)

Oh well, let's just hope for the best. We may not have the best audition vid there is (Fuck school equipment! The guitar amp was so damn screwed! [Lesson learned: Bring your own amp when you know you can't trust the amps in one place!]) I'm surprised my voice was heard loud and clear...Hahaha! Please do check out the vid and tell me what you think we can do to improve! :P http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FZjpbpTD_YA

Wish us luck! :P

I Love My Friends!

Summer gets boring after quite some time right? The reason why I love my friends is that they help me escape boredom that makes my summer, uh, boring. Hehe. This week, my house has been bombarded for 2 days straight now (except for today, we invaded Makati). It's really fun to have some company to make your summer worthwhile.

Monday: Ashley came over after review classes. We chatted A LOT before we even got to watch anything. You know, the usual girl stuff. I love her so much 'coz she can relate to EVERYTHING I have been feeling as of then. Then watched Gundam Seed/Destiny DVDS that relived our days as anime addicts. Like what Klo said, you just grow out of it but reliving the moments doesn't hurt, does it? We were supposed to have a marathon (as in from episode 1 'til episode 50) but we ended up just watching the kilig episodes. Just as we were enjoying one kilig episode, Mike crashed here and he always kept on ruining the squealy moments because of his random side comments. Ashley and I ended up always laughing at him as a reaction. Although we couldn't exactly be wild and acting like freaks by singing the opening and ending songs in GS (they're Japanese btw), we all had fun. At dessert time, the three of us officially became "cheezmax buddies". Ashley commented that my house could make its visitors fat 'coz of all the desserts. Hahaha! Mike had to leave soon and we went with him 'til the end of the street. Ash had to leave soon so too bad...They have to crash again soon with Elaine this time. Were gonna watch Fusigi Yuugi this time. Hahaha! Foozball next time dudes!

Tuesday: I was desperate for a ride home because my driver couldn't come to pick me up that time. Camille, Curt and I were on the verge of commuting but when I called up my mom and told her about it, she didn't allow me. Instead, she called up Tita Ellis, Betsy's mom, to request that Betsy give me a ride home. When I finally found Betsy, I asked her if I could hitch with her but she replied that her car is going to be full for Nikki, Mike, Ash, Elaine and Jeehan are riding too. I thought I was going to be doomed but Tita Ellis called up the driver so we have to ride with Betsy. So we did; we were nine in the car. 9!!! (including the driver). Haha I made kandong on Jeehan. I was nahihiya 'coz I am heavy but she said she's used to heavy people sitting on her. Lmao! Anyway, the boys outside the car told us we could beat the Guiness World Record of having the most people in a small car. Anyways, we headed off to town first to have a quick lunch at KFC. After that we headed back to the car and it was more masikip 'coz we ate (uh oh). Okay, so we were dropped off at our destinations and Camille and I were dropped off at my house. Curt followed soon after and he was very hungry so he ate 2 packs of Pancit Canton. Haha! We played our "game" and I ended up being very scandalous. When it was Curt's turn to be scandalous, he was very VERY hesistant. I practically got super pissed at him but he ended up being scandalous anyway but it required A LOT of persuasion, as in A LOT! We played a little guitar for a while and we played foozball! The scoring was up to 3 and I WON 3 CONSECUTIVE TIMES!!! Yeah baby!!! I eventually was beaten up by Curt but I still held the record for most number of consecutive wins! They both had to leave early though but we saw each other the next day.

Wednesday/Today: So that was the only day no one came over to my crib but we invaded Makati. The night before, Jon and I were dead stressed because two people who had said they would be going eventually backed out for their parents had withdrew their consent. Kim Ding was one and I tried to convince her but she really had no chance of going. I managed to convince Mon's parents to go (in a way I guess) for him to come. We would find out the next day. The next day (today), we found out that Mon was allowed. Yay! So after review classes, Mon, Curt, Camille and I waited for Jon and Bella at Gate 3 and there started our trip to Makati. It was a small reunion for us former SD students; SD is the best class yet in our highschool lives! The roadtrip to Makati made us a little dizzy but fun for all of the random stuff we talked about like trips we're gonna take after graduation and a lot of sabaw stuff. Curt and I were seated at the back and it wass really tight for there were a lot of stuff back in there. We had to remove some so we could get space. Guess what I found; a brief! Yes, A BRIEF!!! Curt threw it to Jon and Mon calls it "Revenge of the Briefs". Laftrip! We were dropped off at Greenbelt and we ate at "John and Yoko" for lunch. Well, I told them the resto's food was REALLY good and I did prove myself correct! The food was indeed good and we got REALLY stuffed afterwards. We walked around a lot. I really thought I would go shopping but I ended up didn't. We were discussing about cheezmax things and Gossip Girl while having DQ and Starbucks. Of course, we didn't forget to camwhore. (Check our pics. -> http://yuufeechan.multiply.com/photos/album/80) Anyway, next off, we looked for guitar stuff for Curt and Camille and fake PS2 games for Mon. Then, we decided to leave Makati early so we could go to Ruins. So, off to Ruins! Bella and I were off to search for undies, but we didn't get to buy. Some of us get to buy stuff. Oh well, I shop at Ruins with me dad when it comes to DVDs. So, I was the first to get dropped home. (Awww...)

(Us in "John and Yoko"...Mmm Mmm good!)

Well, tomorrow is another day wherein my bandmates, kada and gimmick buddies in Glorietta will crash my home once more. This day will be more scandalous than before. Mwahahahaha!

A Very Scandalous Day...

Well this actually happened last Friday. Jon wanted to move the jamming on a Friday because he couldn't come the day after. Sad thing is, Pat was the one who couldn't come on that day. Oh well...

I had tennis camp that morning. I extended my stay for there was a tournament held for the last day. It was doubles and we lost 3 out of 4 games? Hahaha! Service is hella hard! I so couldn't control the ball! After the tournament, we each got Dunlop slippers as a token.

When I came to La Salle for reviews, I was late for the 3rd period. It was Algebra and I really wanted it to end quickly! When it ended, Curt, Mik, Camille and I gathered together after reviews. We walked from Gate 2 till the jeep waiting shed and we chatted with Ponce and friends. After a while, we hitched with Betsy and I got to say she was dead serious when she told us it was gonna be really tight in there. Mik, Curt and Camille stayed at the back while Betsy and I stayed in front. On our way to town, those on the back kept laughing like crazy and we didn't understand at first. It took us a while to realize na may taxi driver na nagtatanggal ng tinga facing his front mirror. God his mouth was really wide open and we couldn't help but laugh about it. Why the hell would he do that??? The sight was just so funny!

After we were dropped off, we decided to eat at Shakey's. We met Klaudine there and guess what she was wearing. A one-piece dress! How slutty! She told us she was supposed to visit her cousin later that day for she was about to give birth. Hahaha! We were all so tipid! We had to cancel one of our pizzas and upgrade another one 'coz almost everyone was sort of broke. Mik went out for a long time and bought another meal for herself because she thought the Shakey's meal wasn't enough for her (It was KFC btw). While she was gone, we all sorta dug in her plate of mojos. I guess there were only around 5 pieces left by the time she came back. Kim Ding and her cousin MM came over when we were almost done with our meal. She couldn't come to the jamming after all (Boo!).

Jon couldn't come over to our Shakey's lunch 'coz he went straight to my house! I felt sad for him 'coz me might have ended up being bored there. He said it was ok 'coz Stephanie Meyer was keeping him company by her novel "New Moon"

By the time we got home, we jammed right away. We sucked so bad!!! Huhuhu! We miss Patrick around. The band isn't just complete without him. That concludes this day is counted as another useless jamming session. Last week's jamming was one of the best! Maybe it was because Fernan P was there 'coz the sound was so complete! Still, we did good even though he left!

Although that day was a useless jamming session, we all had so much fun!!! Well, the band has this tradition (that started 2 weeks ago?). We played a "game" . [NOTE: We can't disclose specific info about this game unless you become a part of it. In other words, TOP SECRET~!] This game is played every jamming whenever we take a break. Well, the game made Jon, Klo and I very very scandalous!!! (Klo still has an utang of 2). We tried to target Daddy but he's just so fucking good at it!!! Damn!

We had palabok for merienda. We watched 300 after. It's very special for me and Daddy 'coz its our favorite movie of all time! We still memorized some lines. Really, I should watch it over again. I'm losing my 300 touch! I used to memorize almost every single line from that movie. (Maybe it's because we watched it without subtitles this time. I used to watch it all the time with subtitles last summer.)

We had KFC for dinner and too bad Jon was the first to leave. Next was Mik. Me and the four remaining played foozball but when we just started, Klo had to leave. After that, Camille and Curt had a showdown and he claimed that this was more addicting than FIFA. He sucked ass tho, as Camille won. He had to leave eventually and Camille and I continued on till she had to go.

That day was very scandalous...There was even more to that actually...hehehe :P

Scandalous talk has officially evolved to Scandalous time! Hahaha!

Out with the old and in with the new! Hello 2008! But let's be sure that we have learned from 2007 first. There were lots of ups and downs in the past year but we hope that this year would be a better one. Happy New Year everyone!

My family believes that whatever you do or happens in the first of January will happen throughout the year. That is why my mom doesn't like to spend on this day every year. When I smell the fireworks being ignited, I get the annoying sickness known as sipon. So guys if you notice why I'm always blowing my nose or sneezing, now you know.

For me, this new year celebration has been very unique. The usual, we light firecrackers and look at them fly into the sky. Whats funny, kwitis should go up right? Well what happened was that our kwitis made an arc because it eventually fell to the ground. Hahaha! Whats worse, there was one kwitis that got stuck in our tree (which was near the Christmas lights) and it blew up there! Good thing there wasn't a short circuit!

(Click here ->(http://yuufeechan.multiply.com/video/item/16/Kwitis_should_go_up_right) to view...Sorry this isn't the one that got stuck in the tree...)

Our family had this tradition of wearing red every New Year's Day because this color represented prosperity in Chinese origin. I learned from my dad that blue and green are lucky colors too: Blue represents water therefore it is abundant while Green, a wood element, represents good health. So guys, if you're wearing any of these colors today, I'm sure you will get pretty lucky this year.

I told you guys earlier that I get colds whenever I sniff the fireworks, I practically got lung cancer already because of the fog! I ran like crazy trying to get away from the fog but it was just too strong. When it was already 12, I jumped like a maniac while shaking 7 coins in my hands because I still believe I could get any taller.

colds+firecracker fog+jumping = trigger of asthma. Nice.

Another unique thing that happened was that we celebrated New Year with brown out. The whole street was pitch black but the fireworks illuminated this very very dark sky. When we got inside, we celebrated our New Year's feast with candles! Cool! Romantic dinner (or should I say morning candle light) on New Year's Day.

My thighs hurt and I'm really tired. It's because of Shawn T's "Hips Buns and Thighs" workout on Hip Hop Abs. Really, I hope I would get a major weight loss by the end of 2008.

Again, I would like to greet everyone a HAPPY NEW YEAR and may 2008 be a prosperous one for each and every one of you.

Huhuhu! God It's TORTURE!!!

Yey 1st entry! I thought I would be able to post stuff in 2008 pa. Oh well, I cant help but rant about what I'm feeling these past few days...

This is what happened...

A day after Christmas, I woke up with a sore throat. It was normal I guess but my throat really hurts every time I swallow. It was different from the other mornings I woke up with a very dry throat. Anyways, I thought that the feeling would wear off as the day went by. So I did the usual for each morning: took a bath, dress up, watch tv. It was a rainy day then but for some reason, I didn't feel like leaving the house even though I know I'll be bored the whole day if I just stayed here. I asked my mom to feel my head and neck, she said that i had sinat. Well that ruined my family's plans of going out. (It was rainy anyway so...)

I took lots of naps that day. It finally recharged my body because I've been lacking sleep lately. (Although it's the Christmas break now, I sleep late because of...internet! hahaha!!!) I finally woke up at night already and when my mom checked my tonsils, it was VERY VERY INFLAMED. As in grabe na talaga. It didn't look normal. May mga white things dun. One popped na nga and had a hole and that's what caused the pain in my swallowing. (eeeeekkkk!!! sorry for the gross description!!!) That obviously meant that I'm SURELY and ABSOLUTELY BANNED FROM SWEETS...and that is NOT for a short time.

Last December 21, we celebrated my Dad's birthday at Itallianni's. When I went in their bathroom, I saw a jar filled with Mentos. Guess what I did ^_^. Yup! I got ALL of the candy and put 'em all in my bag! Hahaha! Practically, I was eating them one by one continuously. Before dessert time, I already ate around 10 pieces! My addiction is really REALLY hard to control...I finished the candies I think before Christmas...I guess you would estimate the total by 1 and one-fourth (or half?) pack. Wow...

(it's actually the spearmint flava' hehe!)

Nanghihinayang talaga ako! Christmas na Christmas di ako makakakain ng matatamis?!?! Everyone knows I LIVE FOR SWEETS!!! It keeps me energized! (and hyper) But sad to say, that was what caused my situation now. The sad thing is, relatives from abroad sent us LOTS of sweets. I saw a bag which had 3 BIG (i mean HUGE) packs of Kissables in it. I can't eat the 2 medium sized packs of Skittles we bought recently. It really sucks living in a house where there are lots of sweet things but you couldn't eat them! *cries*

But there are actually benefits from this whole thing. I LOST 2 LBS!!! I know it isn't a lot for most people but at least I lost weight! (Or should I say, mass? :P) I have a major sugar overdose problem and I guess out of this whole thing, the risk of me having diabetes will lessen. As of now I'm taking calamansi juice and in a way, nakakasawa. Apples are the only sweet things I've been eating (and they're good).

I just hope things would get better for me....
